ABOUT
RiverPoint Church is a community of believers. We believe that together in fellowship we grow closer to God and one another. The Bible speaks about iron sharpening iron. We believe that together, we grow stronger.
RiverPoint Church strives to be a church known for our faith, hope, and love. Jesus calls for us to go outside the walls to reach the lost and the broken. It is there that the lost will be found. RiverPoint Church tries to be like the church from the book of Acts, to see our city changed.
RiverPoint Church highly values our relationships with one another. We look to grow through fellowship, and ultimately grow closer to God. We value the word of God and the leadership of the Holy Spirit. We look to extend grace to all of the lost and broken and lead those with no hope to the hope of Jesus Christ.
Our Core Beliefs
By these beliefs, RiverPoint operates and flows as a unified church, and as a productive member of the Body of Christ.
The Bible
We believe the Bible is the perfect infallible Word of God and that we are to work diligently on building every part of our lives, families, businesses, and church ministries on the revelation of Scriptures.
Jesus
We believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, the Savior of men conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, very God, and very man.
The Church
We believe that Jesus is building His church throughout the whole earth and that our particular local Church is a part of the Body of Christ worldwide and also a unique expression of His grace in the city.
The Father
We believe God is a good God who loves people and wants to save them, help them, and bring them into His heavenly family. As our loving Heavenly Father, He desires to bless us and give us good things as we walk in obedience to His will and proclaim His good news.
The Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is equal with the Father and the Son as God. He is present in the world to make us aware of our need for Jesus Christ. He lives in every Christian from the moment of salvation and provides Christians with power for living, understanding of spiritual truth, and guidance in doing what is right. We further believe that the baptism in the Holy Spirit is a deep encounter following salvation that empowers believers for witnessing and effective service just as it did in the New Testament.
Praise and Worship
We believe in worshiping the Lord in Spirit and in truth, with all our heart and with all the means revealed in the Bible, showing out love with thanksgiving, joy, and praise.

Water baptism is an important step in your journey as a follower of Christ; it’s a public expression of the work God has already done in your life.
